Iran launched a series of missiles into Syria in revenge for the deadly attacks by Islamic State on it’s capital. This was the first missile strike by Iran outside it’s own territory after 30 years.
The missiles were fired from western Iran across the border into Deir Ezzor province, in northeastern Syria, targeting “terror bases”. The missiles fired were medium-ranged, and is believed to have killed a number of terrorists, and destroyed various weapons, according to the Iranian statement.
IS attacked the parliament in Iran on June 7th when gunmen and suicide bombers attacked the capital, killing 17 people.
This is starting to get out of control again.
